Feel free to read

I'm a little late on this, but this is Banned Books Week: September 27th - October 4th. Go here for more info.

It's been a bad week for reading for me so I haven't picked what to read yet. I'll do my best to get to it.

Yes, in light of past posts about me making time for reading I realize the irony in the title of this post.

My personal choice this year is the book Hitler wrote during his secret retirement in Argentina - Mein Kampfy Chair
Reasons a ban has been sought: Nazis at ease, brush moustaches, kinky sex, character has disturbing first name "Adolph", mass murderer escapes justice.

They're also banning it for violence. Even though he's a Nazi, it's pretty disturbing to watch him being poked with soft cushions.

Sounds like the Spanish Inquisition. I wasn't expecting that.

All together now:

NOOOOOOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!

Our main weapon is fear...and surprise.
Our 2 main weapons are fear and surprise, and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.
Our 3 - 3 - main weapons are fear, surprise, an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope, and nice, red cloaks.
Amongst our weaponry are: fear, surprise, an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope, and nice...can I go out and come in again?
